Vikki Lyn Pologar, 58, Grand Junction, died June 4, 2017, at
St. Mary’s Hospital.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. June 20 at Callahan Edfast Mortuary.
Services will be at 10 a.m. June 21 at Immaculate Heart of Mary
Catholic Church.
She was a home care provider.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph F. Jr.; one daughter,
Christina Rosi Powers of Port St. Lucie, Florida; two sisters, JodiWeddington of Concord, North Carolina, and Jillian Couey of Wellington, Florida; and two grandchildren.
Memorial contributions to the Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Knights

Vikki Pologar passed away
at age 58 on June 4, 2017, at
St. Mary’s Hospital. She was
born and raised in West Palm
Beach, Florida, and spent
most of the last 30 years in
Grand Junction, Colorado.
Vikki worked as a florist,
EMT, and paramedic, and received
a degree in Business
Management from Flagler College,
Florida. After moving to Colorado, she worked in the office
of Urology Associates of Western Colorado, in manufacturing
at Refrigeration Hardware Supply, and as a caregiver at First
Light Homecare.
She was active in the Knights of Columbus Ladies’ Auxiliary
Council 13621, Colorado Special Olympics Regional Board of
Directors and the Messiah Choral Society. She held a chef’s certificate
from Western Colorado Community College and was a
personal chef to several clients.
Vikki married Joseph Pologar on November 8, 2008, at St. Joseph’s
Catholic Church in Grand Junction.
She is survived by her husband; daughter, Christina Rosi Powers
of Port St. Lucie, Florida; sisters, Jodi (Randy) Weddington
of Concord, NC, and Jillian (Ronald) Couey of Wellington, Florida;
grandchildren, Cynthia and Jared; two nephews; three nieces;
two great nieces; and two St. Bernards, Hennessy and
Remy. Also, Barbara and Frank Delosa, who’s reciprocal love
created an adoptive parental relationship.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Ladies’ Auxiliary
13621, 790 26 ½ Road, Grand Junction, CO 81506, or Colorado
Special Olympics.
Rosary will be at 7:00 pm on June 20 at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am on June 21 at Immaculate
Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
