skills, and witty charm, while
leaving behind a wonderful
legacy bigger than this
universe for the many people who love him and will miss him
dearly. Through this legacy, his memory will largely live on
forever.
John "Buck" Franklin Pollock, II was born on July 23,1946 to

Buck worked for many years at Grand Junction Steel as a
Structural Engineer. He belonged to the Church of Jesus Christ
of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed home teaching for a number
of years. He also took great pride for his many years spent as a
Boy Scout leader. He loved the outdoors. Although he was a
workaholic, he loved to fish, camp, work in his yard, garden,
spend time with his family and watch football. He especially
loved watching the Denver Broncos win. He had a great sense
of humor, charming personality and a way with the ladies.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his maternal and
paternal grandparents, his brother, Dennis Pollock, and his son,
John Franklin Pollock, III.
He is survived by his former spouse, Etta Pollock; daughters,
