Edna L. Oliver, 81, a resident
Grand Junction for over
40 years passed away Sunday,
July 2, 2017, at HopeWest
Hospice Care Center.
She was born January 23,
1936, in Hunters, Washington
the daughter of Ed and Darla
(King) Farley. She attended
Central High School in Grand
Junction.
Edna was also a resident of
Los Angeles, California and
Albuquerque, New Mexico.
She married Don L. Oliver
and he preceded her in death
in 2008 in Richfield, Utah.
During her working career
she was employed with and retired
from the phone company
as a customer service agent.
She enjoyed cooking, traveling
and crossword puzzles.
Survivors include her son,
John (Millie) Orey of Grand Junction, CO; daughter, Debra
(Ken) Orey Mitchell of Hayward, CA; grandchildren, Jason
Orey, Meghan Mitchell, and Colin Mitchell; great-grandson,
Landon; brother, Jim (Karen) Farley of Grand Junction, CO; sisters,
Melba (Bill) Baker of Grand Junction, CO, and Darlene
Tafoya of Grand Junction, CO.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Bill,
George and Junior Farley.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 10, 2017, at 11:00
a.m. in the Martin Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow at Memorial
Gardens Cemetery. A reception will follow cemetery services
at Martin Mortuary.

Edna L. Oliver, 81, Grand Junction, died July 2, 2017, at HopeWest
and Hospice Care Center.
Services will take place at 11 a.m. Monday at Martin Mortuary.
Burial will be in Grand Junction Memorial Gardens.
She was a customer service agent for a phone company.
Survivors include one son, John Orey of Grand Junction; one
daughter, Debra Orey Mitchell of Hayward, California; one brother,
Jim Farley of Grand Junction; two sisters, Melba Baker and
Darlene Tafoya, both of Grand Junction; three grandchildren; and
one great-grandchild.
