Grandpa Metheny Passes to Great Beyond
This afternoon the funeral of John Metheny, Sr., who died a 6:46 am Thursday , April 16, 1909 , will be held from tho M.E. church. Rev. F.H. Rose will conduct the service. ............................... He came hero from Kansas , in 1890 and has resided with his daugh, Mrs. C. P. Nogal , for the past five years. He leaves to mourn his loss besides Mrs Nogal, four sons , among them being J , J . Metheny of Eagle , and three daughters all of whom are _living in other states. Grandpa Metheny was kind heart good natured, truth loving citizen.................................... Interment will be made in the Eaglecemetery .
