GEORGE MILLER DIES WEDNESDAY.

George Miller, resident of Eagle for the past four years, died Wednesday morning, following a year’s illness. Mr. Miller, an employee of the Empire Zinc Company in Gilman, took ill about a year ago, and has been in very poor health since his release from a Denver hospital during the winteV months. Funenal services will be held this afternoon from the Methodist church in Eagle, with Rev. Paul A. Shields conducting the service. Burial will be in the Eagle cemetery under the direction of the Andre Funeral Home. Pall bearers were Bill Hill, Tom Diviney, Jack Bridges, Harold Robotham, Ed Duffey and Ned Parsons. George Miller was born to Alvertta and Joe Miller in Edinburg, Ind., on September 19, 1887, and had just passed his sixty-first birthday when death called him. In 1915 Mr. Miller came to Colorado, and went to Aspen where he met Mable Pierce, and married her in Leadville two years later. To this union were bom two daughters, Mildred and Ruth. The Miller family lived in Red Cliff for a number of years, he was employed by the Empire Zinc company, and moved from there to Eagle four years ago, buying a home here. He is survived by his widow, 'Mable: two daughters, Mildred Cook, and Ruth Stewart, both of Eagle; 3 granddaughters. Betty and Myrle Cook and Karen Stewart: one sister, Dolly McQueen and 1 brother, Ira Miller, both of Indianapolis, Ind.
