Arthur Ray Lines, 56, Grand Junction, died July 6, 2017, at St.
Mary’s Hospital.
Services will take place at 1 p.m. Friday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.
Survivors include his mother, Marquita K. Lines of Grand Junction;
two brothers, Charles E. Lines of Bourbon, Indiana, and Mark
A. Lines of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and one sister, Laura K. Tolman
of Chicago.
Memorial contributions to a charity of one’s choice.

Arthur Ray Lines, born July
31, 1960, in Grand Junction,
left us on July 6, 2017.
Art grew up with his family
in Western Colorado and
developed a love of the land
and history of the area,
especially in and around
Gateway. During his time
with us, Art very much loved
helping other people, and this
was reflected in his personal life as well as in his professional
life as an Associate with Sam’s Club. He loved the people he
worked with and often spoke of his time at work.
Art had several hobbies; most notable was his love of
photography and his collection of Pentax cameras. He also
loved hiking and often spent his free time hiking all through the
Unaweep Canyon. He also had a strong love of horses,
especially Palominos.
Art is survived by his mother, Marquita Lines; brothers,
Charles and Mark Lines; sister, Laura Tolman, as well as many
extended family members. He will be missed very much.
Service will be Friday, July 14, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at Callahan-
Edfast Mortuary, 2515 Patterson Road, Grand Junction, CO.
