Paul B. Boyd
January 23, 1931 - May 30, 2017
Paul B. Boyd, 86, passed
away at his home on May 30,
2017. Paul moved to Grand
Junction 22 years ago from
Ketchikan, Alaska, a town on
an island with 30 miles of
road, dead end to dead end.
He loved to travel in the car,
so living on I-70 was right up
his alley. He collected maps
and explored the U.S. coast to
coast.
At home, he loved to sit on the front porch and laugh with the
neighbors.
Paul attracted and mentored many young friends and always
showed an interest in their lives. Among these young people
who helped to make up his extended family are Mandy, Matt,
Steve, Shelby, MacKenzie and Lathem.
He is survived by his wife, Leslie; nieces, Charlotte Roberts
(Gary) of Ashtabula, OH and Beth Mayberry of Hummelstown,
PA and their family. He also leaves behind many friends and
devoted neighbors.
A back yard party in his honor will take place on July 8 at 5:00
p.m. at his home.
