COE MORRIS DIED TUESDAY
Funeral services wild be held in the Methodist Church in Eagle Friday afternoon for Coe Morris, age 83. who died in a Gdenwood hospital July 21, following a long illness. Burial will be in the Eagle cemetery. Mr. Morris was born in Morristown, Minnesota, January 12, 1870 and spent his early life in the state of his birth. He married Ina M. Edwards and to this union were born six children His wife and three children preceded him in deathIn 1016 he nvove to the state of Washington where he was engaged in the grocery business. After his retirment he moved to Colorado in 1944 and lived since then with his son. Gordon E. Morris. For the past several vears Mr. Morris was Wind, and in failing health, but maintained an unusually cheerful outlook on life despite his handicap. Rev. B E. Bulklev gave the funeral service and burial was under direction of Bowmans of Eagle. Pall bearers were Harry Lewis, Fred Colby, 'E. J. Bindley, Alvin Rule. H. A. Stein and Goo. Carlow, all of Eagle. Survivors are his sons. Gordon of Eagle: Clayton C, Klamath Falls. Ore-; and Walter of North Bend, Ore; a brother Ira of Washington; 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchild ren.
