Matthew Murray passed away at the County Home at Gypsum Monday , January 16 , 1928 Matt Murray was about 70 years of age and passed nearly 40 years of his life around the mines of . Eagle county . For many years he mined on Cross creek , having -charge of property up there , backed by a company of Catholic sisters . Of recent years he had lived near Pando on a mining claim In which he had great faith . Failing health the past few years had curtailed hig activities , and most of the past two years had beea „ spent as a patient at the County Home He was buried In the Gypsum cemetery Monday by Couny Mortician O W , Meyer of Red Cliff .
