DEATH
F.W. Newbauer of New Castle passed away this week at the home of his friends.
Mr. Newbauer was one of the first settlers on Gypsum creek, coming there from Aspen in 1885. He located on what has always been know as the Newbauer place. Bees, potatoes and onions were his favorite crop., He at one time ran on the Democratic ticket for Assessor.
Newbaurer moved to Divide Creek, where he took up a second ranch and devoted his time to bee culture. He acquired a respectable competence. He has relative east. All old timers will remember him.
