MRS. GEORGE NIMON DIED AFTER LONG ILLNESS
Minnie Nimon, former Eagle lady, died at Porter hospital in Denver July 12. She had undergone surgery and treatment for cancer for the past four years. The Nimons had been residents of Littleton since moving from Eagle several years ago and was well known in the Presbyterian church circles in Littleton, where she was also past president of the American Legion Auxiliary. Minnie J. Schrupp was born in Denver Feb. 5, 1894. As a child she lived in Golden, then moved with her parents to Routt county where Mr. and Mrs. Schrupp took up a homestead near McCoy. She was married to George Nimon ' at Leadville Nov. 16, 1915, and the couple made their home in Eagle until a few years ago, when they moved to Littleton. Mrs. Nimon is survived by her husband, George, of 166 Greenwood Ave., Littleton: and six children: Dorothy Hostetler of Radium; James, Aurora; Gertrude Coe, Ariz.; William of Colorado Springs; Georgia Filter Littleton; Wayne of Littleton. Seventeen grandchildren also survive and eight brothers and sisters: Louise Jones, Denver: Wm. Schrupp, Denver: Carl of Boise, Ida.; Henry, Washintgon state; Marie Phillips, ,Montpelier, Ida.; Josephine Ray, McCoy; Em ma Rieb, Colorado Springs and Lena Smith, Ft. Lupton. Funeral services were held July 15, with cremation following. Mrs Nimon’s ashes. were buried be side her mother and father, Phllomene and Edward L. Schrupp in the country cemetery at Me Coy July 18-
