BETTY OLESEN
Funeral services were held in the Gypsum Lutheran Church for Mrs Betty Oleson. who died in a Glenwood Springs nursing home at the age of 91. Mrs- Oleson was born in Holland, Sweden October 21. 1870 and as' a small child came to Leadville, Colo. later moving to the Gypsum Valley. In 1594 she was married to Samuel P. Oleson. The couple homesteaded a ranch In Gypsum Valley, where they lived Until Mr Oleson’s death. Mrs Oleson made Gypsum her home until her death. She is survived by three sens. Victor J. and Albert of Gypsum: and Carl Fredrick of Phoenix: six grandchil Iren and several greatgrandchildren. Tim Reverend G- L. Oldson of the Glenwood Springs Lutheran Church conducted the funeral service; Miller Funeral Homo of Eagle was in charge of burial in the Gypsum cemetery. Pali bearers were Alan Dale Nunn, Howard Nunn, Jr., Boh Olesen, Evan Mayne, Ernest Watcher, and Willard Wilson.
