Patricia (Pat) Temple Green Sandefur Edwards passed away peacefully in Manhattan KS at the age of 89 on February 27, 2018, at the Good Shepherd Hospice House.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 11th, at 2:00 pm at the Meadowlark Hills Community Room, 2121 Meadowlark Road, Manhattan.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents; her three husbands, Jay Green, Merle Sandefur and Cal Edwards; her brother, James Temple; one son, William Jay Green; one grandson, Tyrel Sandefur; and one stepson, Dennis Edwards. She is survived by daughters, Debi (Green) Kurtz, Sandy (Sid) Stevenson, and Barb (Chris) Darling; son, Carl (Kerri) Sandefur; and step daughter, Diane (Kim) Ward; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Born on July 9, 1928 in Rawlins, WY to James B. and Lucy Temple, Pat grew up on the Focus ranch which was a working guest ranch on the Colorado Wyoming border north of Steamboat Springs, CO.

She married Johnnie C. (Jay) Green in May 1949. They had three children, Debi, Sandy and Bill. Jay died from a brain tumor in 1976.

In 1978, Pat married Merle Sandefur and adopted his two children, Carl and Barb. They continued to live in Steamboat Springs. Merle passed in 1994.

Pat married Cal Edwards in 1996. They enjoyed retirement by spending their time between Littleton, CO, Steamboat Springs, CO, and Mesa, AZ. Pat added more children and grandchildren with each marriage to include Cal's grown children and grandchildren. She continued to love them as her own, staying in touch with all. Cal passed in 1999.

Since 2010, Pat lived at Meadowlark Hills in Manhattan KS, near daughter Sandy. She enjoyed social events where she could spend time visiting with friends. She was ready to go on outings of many different types. She enjoyed quilting, knitting and painting for as long as she possibly could.
