BOB EDWARDS DIES
Robert Edwards , a citizen of Eagle for more than twenty years , passed away at the Community Hospital in Glenwood last Saturday , November 14 , where he had been taken for hospitalization a few day s previously . Mr . Edwards was born May 18 , 1859 , in Hyde Park , N . Y , and there he grew to manhood , much of the time of Ms . early life being spent on the estate of the elder Roosevelt , his father having charge of the stables at the Hyde Park home of the Presidents father . He came to Colorado in 1903 , and to this county in 1920 , having resided in Eagle most of that time . For the past two or three year 9 he had been failing in health , and this fall it was apparent that he was nearing the end , a condition which he appreciated . The only known -living -relative , js .. a sister , Miss Anna Edwards , of Hyde park , N . y ; Burial services were held in charge of the Andre Mortuary Monday afternoon , the body being laid to rest in the Eagle cemetery .
