Thelma Marsh
August 8, 1933 - August 18, 2017
Thelma was born on August
8, 1933, to Ralph Marsh and
Alice Locke Marsh in
Montrose, CO. She spent her
childhood in Montrose, CO.
The family moved to
Glenwood Springs, CO,
where Thelma graduated from
Garfield County High School.
Thelma had lived in
California for a few years
before settling back in Grand Junction, where she worked for
several years at the Far East Restaurant until it permanently
closed. She continued to work at Chinese restaurants until she
retired. For the past five years Thelma was living at Monterey
Park Apartments where she enjoyed visits from family, friends,
and neighbors, and watching American Ninja, and guessing who
was going to win.
Thelma was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles for
over 45 years.
A Memorial service will be held on September 9, 2017, at 1:00
p.m. at the Eagles Lodge at 1674 Highway 50, Grand Junction,
CO, with a dinner following.
