MRS . CLARA EVA PAUL .

Mrs . Clara Eva Paul passed away at the home of Mr . a nd Mrs . Charles Stanley in Gypsum , Colo ., at 4 : 30 o clock Sunday morning , September 14 , 18 . 11 , Mrs . Paul had been in failing health for over two years and bedridden for four months . Clara Eva Cox was born at Cherokee , Crawford county , Kansas , August 25 , 1896 , the only child of Alfred and Clarinda Cox . She made her home with her grandparents in Illinois , where she Was educated . She attended the Baptist Missionary Training School in Chicago . She wag married to the late Rev Joseph Paul on July 2 C . J 804 , and accompanied him to the foreign mission field in Silesagar , Assam , India . There

she spent fifteen years in the missionary service . To this union was born the following children : Miss Edna Ruth , Nowgong , Assam , India ; Lydia Eva , deceased ; Joseph A ., East Chicago , 111 .: Mrs . Frances E . Stanley , Gypsum , Colo . ; George V ., Ft . Sam Houston , Tex .: Dorothy G ., Gypsum . Mrs . Paul is also survived by one grandson , Robert Paul Stanley , Gypsum . In 1907 , Mrs . Paul and the children returned to the United States in order that the children might be educated

here . The family lived in Ottawa , Kan ., from 1913 to 1932 , at which time Mrs . Paul came to Colorado to live at Boulder . Since 1936 she had made her home with her daughter and son-in-law , Mr , and Mrs . Charles Stanley at Gypsum . Mrs . Paul was laid to rest in Highland cemetery , Ottawa , Kan ., where her husband an one daughter are buried .
