Last Wednesday morning all that was mortal of George Peters of Gillman passed to the great beyond after an illness of only a few hours. He was taken with a cold Sunday and went to his bed in his cabin a distance from the other houses and when found in teh cabin had neither food nor fire for a number of hours.
