DEATH OF CHARLES H . PETERSON

After nearly two years of suffering Mr . Peterson passed peacefully away on Monday of this week at 7:00pm. Those who had sympathized with him and his family during his protracted illness were not surprised to hear of his death , and yet there ivas reawakened in many hearts a sympathy for the widow and her little

ones. The I. O. O. F. fraternity, of which Mr . Peterson was an honored member immediately took charge of everything relating to the funeral and the service ; were held in M. E. Church on Wednesday morning ; at 11 o clock . Kev . Hole preached the funeral sermon from the text Eccles . 8 : 8 , which was _attentively listened to by the _large number in attendance . The following : facts in regard to the life of the _deceased were Drought cut . Charles H . The cause of his death was Bright s disease . v After the service at the church the j remains were conducted to their lasl I resting place by the members of the i Odd Fe !! o _ . _vs lodge , who . . with the ¦ use of their most impressive ritual , paid j the last rites to the memory of their dei parted brother . I Beautiful- flowers from Mt . Basalt Lodge No . S 3 , I . O . 0 . F ., and from Free Silver Rcbekah Lodge _N _ o . 47 . were deposited on the casket in the church .
