CHARLEY PINKERTON DIED MONDAY
Charley Pinkerton, for the past 22 years a resident of Gypsum, died in a Glenwood hospital Monday, August at the age of 80Mr. Pinkerton had been in failing health for the past few years, and had been ill for the past four months. Mrs- Pinkerton preceded him in death, and during recent

months he divided his time between his children in Utah, returning to Colorado a few weeks ago. Charley Yancey Pinkerton was born October 8, 1873 at Morrelton Ark. and lived his childhood in Missouri- A fanner by trade, hb lived in Texas and Oklahoma before moving to Colorado in 1931 settling in GypsumMr- Pinkerton is survived by four sons; J- R. of Eagle; L. H. of Wewoka, Okla-; Ray of American Fork, Utah; Charlie of Stilwell. Okla ; and two daughters: MrsMyrtle Buckler of San Pablo, Calif, and Lena Sixki’.’.er of Dragerton, Utah. 21 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren also survive. Mrs- Harold Helms, a granddaughter lives in Eagle. Funeral services will be Friday afternoon in the Gypsum Methodist Church at 2 p- m- by Rev. B E Bulkley of Eagle. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Gypsum. and under the direction cf Farnum Mortuary of Glenwood Springs.
