The friends of Mrs Frank Porter of McCoy were shocked to learn of her death, which occured on Monday, sortly following the birth of a baby boy. The remains laid to rest in the McCoy cemetery Monday afternoon, after services conducted by Rev. G.A. Ellis of Yampa. Bessie May was at the time of her death 20 years and six months of age. She was born in Adams county, Illinois, and leaves a loving husband, a daughter of 26 months old, and a tiny baby born Monday. She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. W.H. Rickard, living in Orchard, Colorado, and by neighbors. Mrs. Porter's only sister, Mrs. Lizzie Higgins, died in Rifle, Colorado, 26 June, 1909, under similar circumstances. Her father did November 4, just a year ago.
