Harvey Pensack died peacefully at home on Saturday, March 10, 2018 with his loving wife, Joni Pensack, by his side.
He graduated magna cum laude from Clarkson University. He served his country in WWII as a first lieutenant and spent one year stationed in Japan. Harvey was a successful small business owner and became a Certified Financial Planner.
Harvey was born in New Jersey where he married and raised three children; moved to Steamboat Springs, Colorado in 1992. He enjoyed skiing, hiking, biking, golf, then retired to University Park Country Club in Florida.
Harvey is survived by his wife of 35 years Joni Pensack, son Dr. Robert Pensack and wife Abbe, daughter Laurie Pensack Dirden and husband Johnny, step-son Chris Mantin and wife Sandy, step-daughter Linda Mantin, brother Irwin Pensack and wife Judy, sister Janice Peddie, grandchildren Ben and Adam Pensack (Children of deceased son Richard Pensack), Max Pensack and wife Minami, Miriam Pensack, Brielle Mantin, Jamie Mantin and Carter Campbell (Son of deceased step-daughter DJ Campbell).
Services will be held at Sarasota National Cemetery on Monday, March 19, 2018 at 3:00 pm. Reception will take place at home from 5pm-7pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be given to Tidewellhospice.org.
