" .............. a pioneer hack driver of Denver, died at the Quartzite hotel in Red Cliff last Friday night. ............ was en route to California .... poor health .........condition so serious he was oblidged to to abandon the trip. Soon after reaching hotel he became speechless.......Drs Gilpen and Warren summoned............ etc."
