Edna Margaret Brammeier, 90, Clifton, died Sept. 2, 2017, at
HopeWest and Palliative Care Center.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Callahan Edfast Mortuary.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Community of Christ
Church.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, Leon W. of Tucson, Arizona, and William W. of Clifton; three daughters, Kathryn Bertram, and Jacquelyn Brammeier, both of Clifton, and Rose Thorpe of Grand Junction; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren.

Edna Margaret Brammeier, born November 14, 1926, and passed away September 2, 2017, at the Hospice Care Center, surrounded by family. Marge was born to Lee and Frances Taylor in Goodland, KS; she grew up on the farm where she was born. She was the oldest of six girls. She met and married Orville Brammeier
in Goodland, KS, on January 7, 1945; they were married until
his death in 2000. They had five children, Leon (Sue)
Brammeier, Kathryn (Joe) Bertram, William (Lisa) Brammeier,
Jacquelyn Brammeier, and Rose (Trace) Thorpe. She has 11
grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and three great-greatgrandchildren.
They lived in several places including Burlington, CO,
Goodland, KS, Montrose, CO, Naturita, and Nucla, CO, before
settling in Clifton, CO. She worked at St. Mary’s Hospital in the
kitchen for many years.
Marge enjoyed being with her family, gardening, crocheting,
sewing quillows for the grandkids and cooking at church camps.
She was a member of the Community of Christ Church and the
Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F.W.
The viewing will be held Thursday, September 7, 2017, from
6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary on Patterson Rd.,
Grand Junction, CO. The service will be held Friday, September
8, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at the Community of Christ Church, 2880
B ½ Rd., Grand Junction, CO, 81503, followed by a grave side
service at the Palisade Cemetery.
