25, 2017, at Mantey Heights Care Center.
Services will take place at 10 a.m. Sept. 23 at the First United
Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, William C.; and one daughter,
Courtney Jones of Montrose.

Elizabeth “Bettyann” Jones,
age 75, passed away on
Friday, August 25, 2017, at
Mantey Heights
Rehabilitation Center.
Bettyann was born on April
28, 1942, in Denver, CO to
the late Thomas H. Brooks
and Elizabeth Meuterspa
Brooks. She spent her childhood between Denver and Grand
Junction and graduated from Grand Junction High School in
1961. She attended Mesa Junior College and earned a Bachelor
and Master’s Degrees in History from the University of Denver
in Denver, CO.
On October 10, 1971, she married William C. Jones in Denver,
CO. She and her husband were members of First United
Methodist Church in Grand Junction. Bettyann had a love for
singing and music. She had a passion for learning, reading,
religious studies, philosophy, and photography.
Bettyann is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years,
William C. Jones of Grand Junction, and her loving daughter,
Courtney Jones of Montrose.
A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist
Church, 522 White Ave., Grand Junction, CO on Saturday,
September 23, 2017, at 10:00 a.m.
