BILL RENSHAW DIED AFTER THREE-WEEKS ILLNESS Francis Alvin (Bill) Renshaw, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Renshaw of Basalt, died Aug. 4, in the VA Hospital in Grand Grand Junction at the age of 43 years. He had been ill three weeks. Mr. Renshaw was born at Basalt Dec. 29, 1915 and spent his childhood there. He attended the Basalt schools, and served as a staff sergeant in the Army for five years. He was in the Pacific theatre of operations during World War II. Funeral services were conducted Saturday in the American Legion Hail, Basalt by Reverend Joseph Bosch of Aspen. The Basalt American Legion Post conducted gravesde services. Funeral arrangements were in charge of Famum Mortuary of Glenwood. Mr. Renshaw is survived by his parents of Basalt and two sisters, Mrs Carl (Nellie) Luckslnger of Carbondale and Mrs. Wm. (Anna Lois) Luthman of Hampton, Va.
