McIntosh, 81, Grand Junction,
Colorado died October 25,
2017, at Belmont Village Care
Center, Scottsdale, AZ.
She was born November 4,
1935, in Lebanon, Nebraska, a
daughter of Clare Orn Gay
and Hattie Bell Magers Gay.
On June 30, 1953, she married William Loyal Glenn at the
Logan LDS Temple. Several years after the death of her first
husband she re-married Bill J. McIntosh in Edinburgh Scotland.
Bonnie graduated from Bear River High School in Tremonton,
Utah. Bonnie and her husband, William Loyal Glenn, moved to
Las Vegas, Nevada in 1968 where Bonnie received a Master’s
Degree in Secondary Education and Kinesics at the University
of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Bonnie and Loyal moved again to Grand Junction, Colorado in
1975 where she worked as a high school teacher at Central High
School, Real Estate Agent for Bray and Co., and owner and
operator of Glenn’s Scaffolding after the death of her husband,
William Loyal Glenn. Bonnie received the Colorado Business
Person of the year award in 1989, as well as the Couplin Pin
Award recognized by the Scaffold & Access Industry
Association in 1988.
The intellect, determination and sense of adventure that was
represented in Bonnie will always be admired and remembered.
She was an outdoor enthusiast, she loved hunting, camping and
traveling, which took her to several countries across the world.
She is preceded in death by her past husbands, William Loyal
Glenn (June 21, 1985) and Bill J. McIntosh (October 12, 2003);
daughter, Deborah Glenn Gobelman (February 12, 2002); sister,
Gloria Gay Brown (May 1, 1990) and grandson, Garrett Keith
Lawson (July 30, 1994).
Bonnie and Loyal Glenn’s children are Deborah Glenn
Gobelman (deceased), Kathleen Glenn and Suzette Glenn
Lawson; grandchildren, Austin Gobelman, Landon Gobelman,
Kristen Ansteth Rodriquez, Ryan Glenn Mouzoon, Bonnie
Amelia Lawson Cox, Garrett Keith Lawson and Samuel Hayden
Lawson; great-grandchildren, Loyal, Addison, Lawson, Ava,
William and Mason; sister, Gloria Gay Brown, and parents,
Clare and Hattie Gay.
In keeping with the wishes of Bonnie Fonelle Gay Glenn
McIntosh there will be no memorial services. A private
graveside service for the family will be conducted at Riverview
Cemetery in Tremonton, Utah, Saturday, November 4, 2017.
