George “Wes” Gates, 91, Grand Junction, died Sept. 10, 2017, at
the Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Visitation will be at 5:30 p.m. Friday at Taylor Funeral Services
in Delta. Services will be at 1:30 Saturday at Pea Green Cemetery.
He was an insurance agent.
Survivors include three sons, Gary D., and Larry, both of Delta,
and Terry of Albuquerque, New Mexico; three daughters, ShirleySchneider of Omaha, Nebraska, Meri McCartney and Sheri Weatherford,
both of Delta; and two brothers, Bob Gates of Montrose and
Rex Gates of Omaha, Nebraska.
