Jerry Wayne Purcell, 73, Meeker, died Sept. 20, 2017, at the Veterans Community Living Center in Grand Junction.Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29, at the Veterans Memo-rial Cemetery of Western Colorado. He was a U.S. Air Force flight engineer and a construction busi-ness owner.Survivors include his wife, Linda; one son, Luke of Meeker; one daughter, Juanita Danette Butterbaugh of Grand Junction; one brother, Jim Purcell of Meeker; one sister, Pat Porter of Stratford, Texas; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
