Robert J. Pauley, 72, Grand Junction, died Oct. 14, 2017, at Palisades
Living Center.
Committal will be at 3 p.m. Monday at the Veterans Memorial
Cemetery of Western Colorado. Services will follow at 4 p.m. at New
Life Church of Grand Junction.
He was a furniture and appliance sales representative.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; one son, Jason of Denver; one
daughter, Julie Brost of Yakima, Washington; one stepson, David
Stassen of Grand Junction; two brothers, David of Denver and John
of Fredericks, Maryland; two sisters, Janet Kroger of Dubuque,
Iowa, and Judy Pins of Gurnee, Illinois; and four grandchildren.

Robert "Bob" was born to
Buck and Marita Pauley of
Dubuque, Iowa. After
graduating from Dubuque
High School in 1963, he
served proudly in the U.S.
Army during the Vietnam
War. Later he earned a degree
in Business at Regis
University in Denver and his
career in sales later landed
him in Grand Junction.
Bob was a Bronco’s fan and loved the outdoors. He was loving,
compassionate, loyal and always offered to help those in need.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents and stepdaughter,
Nyla (Stassen) Robinson. He is survived by spouse, Mary
Pauley; son, Jason Pauley of Denver; daughter and son-in-law,
Julie (Pauley) and Robert Brost of Yakima, WA; step-son and
daughter-in-law, David and Katie Stassen; brothers and sistersin-
law, David and Pam Pauley of Denver and John and Mary
Pauley of Fredericks, MD; sisters, Janet Kroger of Dubuque, IA
and Judy Pins of Gurnee, IL; seven grandchildren, Hunter and
Natalie Brost, Noah and Morgan Pauley, Doug and Scott
Stassen, Jasmine Robinson, and one great-grandchild, Grayson
Stassen.
Memorial services will be in Grand Junction Monday, October
23rd, beginning with Military Honors at Veterans Memorial
Cemetery, 2830 Riverside Parkway at 3:00 p.m., followed by a
memorial service at New Life Church, 1350 N. 7th Street at
4:00 p.m.
