Charles W. Jensen, 64, Grand Junction, died Oct. 12, 2017, at
his home.
Burial will take place at the Russey Hurlburt Cemetery in Parachute.
He was a mechanic.
Survivors include two sons, Charles E., and Clinton T., both of
Grand Junction.

Wayne passed away on
October 12, 2017.
He was born in Rifle, CO, in
a doctor’s office, and brought
home to the Ranch in
Parachute, CO. His family
moved to Grand Junction, CO.
As a youngster he was a Boy
Scout, and 4-H member. He
was a skilled Horseman and a
real cowboy. He also loved
the track. Wayne received an excessive education from Golden
Gate Youth Camp and went on to study Geology at Mesa State
College. He was a mechanic. Wayne was good at building. He
assisted his family with the cabin on the mountain and the trailer
park. Wayne loved life. He also loved fishing, hiking, skiing,
farming, ranching, being at the cabin on the mountain, “The
Doors”, smoking marijuana, and playing video games. Wayne
was a family man.
His favorite people were his grandmas, Flora Dere, and Olive
Satterfield; and his sons. He is preceded in death by his parents,
Charles L. Jensen and Beverly G. Dere-Johnston, and his
younger brother, Lanny J. Jensen. Wayne is survived by Amy,
and his sons, Charles E. Jensen, and Clinton T. Jensen; uncle
and aunt; and numerous cousins and grandchildren.
We now say goodbye as he joins the love of his family; he will
be missed. Wayne will be laid to rest at the Russey Hulburt
Cemetery in Parachute, CO, on October 24 at 1:00 p.m.
