William L. McLean
April 14, 1937 - November 3, 2017
William L. "Bill" McLean, Palisade, CO went to be with the
Lord Friday, November 3, 2017, at Grand Junction, CO. He was
80.
Bill and his wife, Lila, owned and operated McLean Funeral
Home in Palisade from 1968 until their retirement in 2005 and
owned and operated McLean Funeral Home in Fruita from 1971
to 2005.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Lila; two sons, Michael
L. (Debbie) of Palisade and Dr. W. Shawn (Kelli) of Fruita;
daughter, Lana M. (Tom) Bell of Grand Junction; nine grandsons,
Zane Murray, Zachary McLean, Joshua Bell, Luke
McLean, Max McLean, Dartagnan McLean, Remington
McLean, Daniel McLean and Treyvon McLean; three
granddaughters, Ashley Bell, Brittany Bell and Courtney Bell;
two great-grandchildren, Lyle Murray and Kimber Murray, and
brother, John M. McLean of Chandler, AZ.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, W. Lyle and Thelma
McLean and a daughter, Celeste Y. McLean.
A graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November
9, at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Grand Junction. A memorial
book will be available on Wednesday evening, November
8 from 6 - 8:00 p.m. at the Palisade Funeral Home which
has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Contributions may be made in his memory to the church of
