Bennie Jay Hatch, 86, Grand Junction, died Dec. 29, 2017, at Eagle Ridge of the Grand Valley. Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Martin Mortuary with burial to follow at Grand Junction Memorial Gardens. He was a truck driver. Survivors include his wife, Opal; five sons, Danny of Glade Park and Bennie L., Thomas, David and Eddie, all of Grand Junction; two sisters, Barbara Babcock of Battlement Mesa and Earlene Stalnaker of Texas; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
