Lincoln Nathaniel Simpson, 74, Whitewater, died Jan. 2, 2018, in Grand Junction. He was an auto mechanic and garage owner. He is survived by his wife, Marva; one son, Mark of Whitewater; one daughter, Kellie Yurick of Grand Junction; three brothers, Jody Simpson of Whitewater, Gary Simpson of Blanding, Utah, and Dan Simpson of Moab, Utah; two sisters, Ann Alderman-Hegre of Whitewater and Bonnie Wiggins of Moab; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Lincoln "Link" Simpson October 19, 1943 - January 2, 2018
Lincoln "Link" Simpson passed away, surrounded by family, January 2, 2018, in Grand Junction, Colorado at the age of 74. Link was born October 19, 1943, in Delta, Colorado to John (Than) and Dora Simpson. He graduated from Grand Junction High School. He married Marva Buzzard in 1962 and worked at the Hallenbeck Ranch in Eckert, Colorado before moving to Grand Junction in 1965 and starting his career in automotive repair as a mechanic at Central Chevrolet and ultimately owning a garage with his brother Tye. He enjoyed camping and 4-wheeling and all family occasions and activities. He will always be remembered as a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and trusted friend. This is his legacy. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Robert (Tye) Simpson. Link is survived by his wife, Marva; son, Mark; daughter, Kellie Yurick (John); granddaughters, Nicole Devaney (Reed) and Shari Yurick (Connor Pearrow); greatgrandson, Carson Devaney; brothers, Jody, Gary and Danny Simpson, and sisters, Ann Alderman-Hegre and Bonnie Wiggins. Services are set for Saturday, January 13th, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at the Lutheran Church of Messiah, 840 North 11th Street, Grand Junction, Colorado, 81501. Interment of ashes following services at Orchard Mesa Cemetery. Cremation by CallahanEdfast Mortuary.
