Roger Terrell Lutkiewicz, 81, Grand Junction, died Dec. 7, 2017, in Grand Junction. No services are planned at this time. He was a postal carrier. Survivors include two daughters, Catherine Lutkiewicz of Grand Junction and Terry Mackler of Niwot; one sister, Barbara Jo Wheeler of Grand Junction; and two grandchildren. Memorial contributions to the Gunnison Pioneer Museum, 803 E. Tomichi Ave., Gunnison 81230; or to any veterans organization.

Roger Terrell Lutkiewicz, 81, of Grand Junction, Colorado, passed away on December 7, 2017, at the Community Living Center at the Grand Junction Veteran’s Hospital. Roger was born in Grand Junction, Colorado to Robert and Catherine Lutkiewicz. He was a graduate of Montrose County High School and attended Adams State College prior to joining the Army and serving in Germany. He was retired from the United States Postal Service. Roger married JoAnn Griffin on August 12, 1962. They had two daughters, Catherine of Grand Junction, Colorado, and Terry (Gregory) Mackler, of Niwot, Colorado. Also surviving are two grandsons, Xavier and Max Niwot, Colorado; his sister, Barbara Jo Wheeler, Grand Junction, Colorado, and nieces and nephews. His parents; a sister, Beatrice Baker and a brother, Leland Lutkiewicz preceded him in death. Roger enjoyed working on antique cars and had been active in car clubs. At Roger’s request, no services are planned. Memorial contributions may be given to the Palliative Care at the VA Hospital, Community Living Center Grand Junction, Colorado or the The Gunnison Pioneer Museum. The family will be forever grateful to the entire staff of the Community Living Center for all of their kindness and support in the care of Roger
