Belle E. Shepardson, 77, Grand Junction, died Jan. 29, 2018, at her home. Services will take place at 4 p.m. Saturday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary. She was a supervisor at an electronics company. Survivors include one son, Vernon of Grand Junction; one daughter, Debra Pruett of Tillamook, Oregon; four grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions to a charity of one’s choice.

Belle Shepardson June 3, 1940 - January 29, 2018
Belle Elaine Shepardson, 77, passed away quietly in her home on January 29, 2018. Belle was born June 3, 1940, in Whitewater, Colorado to James and Viola Blair. She spent her childhood in Whitewater and lived in the Grand Valley during her life. Belle enjoyed road trips, family history, tending her roses, volunteering and visiting with her friends. She was a member of the Elks, Eagles, VFW and National Association of Federal Retirees (NARF). She made great friends as she served the community. Her grandsons made great memories around her pool table and many will miss her famous pineapple upside down cake. Belle is survived by her friend and roommate, Pete Gleason, and her children, Vernon Shepardson, Grand Junction and Debra Pruett, Tillamook, Oregon. She was loved by four grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Vernon Lee Shepardson, and husband, Ben Reed Shepardson, as well as her siblings and her parents. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 3, 2018, at 4:00 p.m. at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary. The burial will follow at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
