An Open Celebration of Life Memorial
Is being held on January 12, 2018 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Martin Mortuary, 550 North Avenue, Grand Junction. This service is to honor the lives of family and friends and to cherish those we are losing to disease or injury. We honor all vets and the family of Charles Robert Burgess; wife, Verna G; and son, Stephen Robert; the family of and including Steffy Crespin, Marlin Etcheverry and Susan Ness. Special friends that have passed include - Brock Robert, Brianna Adelle, Amanda, Tippy, Holly, Cal Cuero, Peace & Quiet and many other companions. Please bring a memory of your loved one and a recipe card of a favorite food. The celebration will include music, a time of sharing, communion and a flag salute with a balloon release at 3 p.m. followed by food and fellowship in the reception area. Children are welcome.

An open celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 27, at 6:00 p.m. at the North end of Sherwood Park for those who have lost a loved one, a pet, or are struggling to survive life. Specifically - Charles Robert, Verna G., Stephen Robert Burgess and their pets, Buck Robert, Brock, Moriah, Amanda, Peace and Quiet, and Max and Tippy. Cremation has taken place and their ashes will be planted with a Colorado Blue Spruce Tree. The celebration will include balloons, kites, music and food. Please bring a salad, or a dessert, and a memory of your loved one This is a time to honor them as we remember the time we were given to share in their lives.
