Wendell Marlin Doty, 89, Palisade, died Dec. 14, 2017, in Palisade. Private services will take place at a later date. He was a World War II veteran and a forester for the United States Forest Service. Survivors include his wife, Lorraine; two sons, Skip of Palisade and Charles of State College, Pennsylvania; two daughters, Kathryn of Denver and Jamie of Aurora; and seven grandchildren.
