Derek Jason Dover, 55, Grand Junction, died Feb. 6, 2018, at HopeWest Hospice Care Center. Services will take place at 1 p.m. Feb. 18 at the Collier Butler Funeral Home in Gadsden, Alabama. He was a college administrator. Survivors include his wife, Louise; one son, Jeremy of Gadsden; one daughter, Melinda Amberson of Grand Junction; his mother, Kathryn Dover of Rainbow City, Alabama; three sisters, Cynthia Turner of Gadsden, Vicki Pittman of Mississippi, and Tina Strain of Douglasville, Georgia; and two grandchildren.
