Vivian Geraldine Stephens, born in Maine on August 26th, 1939, was peacefully called home to God on December 27th, 2017. She is survived by her children, Patrick Schurott, Vicki Mast, Pam (Joe) Connolly, and Brenda Armour, and eight loving grandchildren, Courtney, Jesse, Addison, Anthony, Lauren, Matt, Ryan, and Seth, who loved and adored her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Art Stephens, and her mother and father, Nona and Joseph Whalen. We will celebrate her life on Friday, December 29th, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary, 2515 Patterson Rd., Grand Junction, CO, 81505. She will be laid to rest on Saturday, December 30th, at 2:00 p.m. next to her beloved husband in Paonia, CO. She loved traveling, getting together with friends and family as much as possible as well as playing Bunco and being a member of PEO. She will be greatly missed.

Vivian G. Stephens, 78, Grand Junction, died Dec. 27, 2017, at St. Mary’s Medical Center. She was a nurse. She is survived by one son, Patrick Shurott of Robbinsville, New Jersey; three daughters, Pamela Connolly of Dubuque, Iowa, Victoria Mast of Highlands Ranch and Brenda Armour of Flagstaff, Arizona; and eight grandchildren.
