William Ray Buskirk, 69, Grand Junction, died Feb. 27, 2018, in Grand Junction. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Grand Valley Funeral Home. Services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at 1 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado. A reception will follow at the funeral home. Survivors include his wife, Rose Marie; three sons, John Buskirk of Fruita, Eric Trujillo of California and Mark Sorensen of Utah; two daughters, Dusty Anderson of Fruita and Shelley Medina of Denver; one brother, Phillip Buskirk of Somerset; one sister, Debbie Buskirk of Colorado; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

William Lea Buskirk went to be with the Lord on February 27, 2018 surrounded by his family. William was born in Price, Utah on April 19, 1948 to Phillip Lea and Wilma Maude Buskirk. He served in the Army for three years doing 2 1/2 tours in Vietnam. William liked fast cars, the Denver Broncos, WWE, Casinos, Travel and most of all spending time with his family. He worked in the oilfield for 50 years working on ocean rigs in Hawaii, China, The Gulf of Mexico, etc. William is survived by his loving wife, Rose Marie Buskirk; sons, John Buskirk, Eric Trujillo and Mark Sorensen; daughters: Dusty Anderson and Shelley Medina; brother, Phillip Buskirk; and sister. Debbie Buskirk. He has 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services will be held on March 5, 2018 at Grand Valley Funeral Homes, 2935 Patterson Road, Grand Junction, Colorado. Viewing will be held at 10 a.m. with the Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Interment will be at the Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery at 1 p.m. William was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will Be Greatly Missed!
