Anne peacefully passed away January 28, 2018, at the age of 91, at HopeWest Hospice Care facility in Grand Junction, Colorado. Anne was born on September 13, 1926 in Hotchkiss, Colorado. She grew up in Hotchkiss. She and Glenn raised their family in the Denver area before Glenn retired. After Glenn retired, they then moved back to Hotchkiss (1986-2007) and finally to Clifton (2007). Anne had a special zest for life and living it the way she wanted. She was an accomplished artist in mosaics, clay and ceramics who produced many beautiful pieces of art. In addition to here art skills she displayed wonderful green thumb that provided all around here with countless hours of pleasure watching here plants grow. One thing that placed her above most growers was her very own worm farm and composting that helped provide extra growth for all her plants. She lived alone for the last ten years of her life with support from her son’s and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles R. Neill and Lilia B. Neill; brothers, Charles R. Neill Jr., and Jack Neill; her husband Glenn G. Stubbs and son Marc Stubbs (Donna Humphrey). She is survived by her other two sons, Glenn Michael (Kathy) and Gael Gene (Charlotte) Stubbs, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Anne requested that no services be prepared. Just a simple internment at the family plot in Hotchkiss is being planned for this summer. In lieu of flowers, the requests any donations be made to the loving people at HopeWest Hospice Care where she spent her final days.
