Ruth Goodrich, of Pinedale, Wyoming passed away Friday July 13, 2018 at the Sublette Center in Pinedale. Ruth was born July 9, 1930 in Wheatland, Wyoming to Gordon and Margaret (Mitchell) Wilson, of Glendo, Wyoming. Ruth was born into Wyoming pioneer families and dearly loved the close knit ties formed through the bond of the ranching communities in Platte County Wyoming. Ruth attended school in Glendo, Wyoming graduating valedictorian with the class of 1947. She attended the University of Wyoming until marrying Neil Goodrich in 1949. Ruth always loved hiking with her friends and hiking clubs she belonged to. Her hikes took her to the top of Laramie Peak and to the Phantom Ranch in the bottom of the Grand Canyon. Ruth is survived by her brother James Wilson (Donna) of Glendo Wyoming; sons Ron (Becky) Goodrich of Steamboat Springs, Charles (Cyd) Goodrich of Pinedale, Wyoming; grandchildren Lisa (Ben) Carter of Pinedale, Wyoming; Callie (Jake) Drury of Steamboat Spring; Andrea (James) Rogers of Filer, Idaho, and Chauncey (Angela) Goodrich of Pinedale, Wyoming; great-grandchildren Braiden and Grant Carter, Logan and Lincoln Drury, Clancy, Emma, Bele and Samuel Rogers, Candice and Lexie Goodrich. A memorial service will be held August 18th at 11:00 AM at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Glendo, Wyoming.
