Edgar W. Foy, 97, Grand Junction, died Jan. 16, 2018, at The Residence at Grand Mesa. Services will take place at a later date. He was a truck driver. Survivors include his wife, Reta Marie; two sons, Edgar T., and Gary; two daughters, Ilona Wilson, and Aleta Parrott; eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and two great-greatgrandchildren.

Edgar Winslow Foy December 12, 1920 - January 16, 2018
Edgar "Bud" Winslow Foy, 97, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2018. Edgar was born in Scofield, Utah, December 12, 1920. At a young age, he was adopted by George and Gertrude Foy and grew up in Gateway, Colorado. He served in the military during World War II and went into ranching upon his discharge. Edgar married Reta Marie Massey in 1944 and they had four children; Ed Foy (Carol), Ilona Wilson (Wynn), Gary Foy (Cindy - deceased) and Aleta Parrott (Dan); eight grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and two great-greatgrandchildren. "Bud" and Reta were married for 73 years and lived in Gateway, Meeker and Grand Junction, CO, where they resided until his passing. He worked as a truck driver for many years and retired from Grand Junction Steel in 1985. He enjoyed driving the countryside and traveled most of the United States and Canada. He and Reta enjoyed gardening and canning and were members of the Calvary Bible Church for many years. Edgar will be missed by many friends and family and they will all be invited to a Celebration of Life to be announced at a later date.

A memorial service, celebrating the life of Edgar "Bud" Winslow Foy, will be held on Friday, June 22, 2018, at the Calvary Bible Church. Bud passed away, peacefully, on January 16, 2018, at the age of 97. We invite all of his friends and family to join us on this day at 11:00 a.m., to celebrate his life and share memories at Calvary Bible Church, 629 27 1/2 Rd., Grand Junction, CO 81506.
