Jim Cameron, 64, Grand Junction, died Jan. 24, 2018, in Grand Junction. Services will take place at 11 a.m. Monday at the First Presbyterian Church. He was an airline pilot for U.S. Airways. Survivors include his wife, Jeanette; one son, Alex of Grand Junction; one daughter, Eden Cameron of Beaverton, Oregon; two brothers, Larry Cameron of Longwood, Florida, and David Cameron of Contuit, Massachusetts; and one grandchild. Memorial contributions to the Wasatch and District Pipe Band, 2335 West 4195 South, Taylorsville, Utah 84129.

Jim was born in Holyoke, MA to Allan and Louella Cameron on August 19, 1953. He went to school at Andrew Lewis HS in Salem, VA. He married Jeanette Wegner on November 26, 1977 in Grand Junction, CO. He graduated from Miami Dade College in Miami, FL with a degree in Aviation. He worked as a Captain for US Airways and was a member of the Wasatch & District Pipe Band in Taylorsville, UT. He was preceded in death by his mother, Louella. Jim is survived by his wife, Jeanette; his son, Alex; his daughter, Eden; his brothers, Larry and Dav; his father, Allan and stepmother, June; and his granddaughter, Evalynn Grace. Memorials may be given to the Wasach & District Pipe Band (2335 West 4195 South Taylorsville, Utah) or to the Evalynn Grace Cameron college fund via the Cameron family @ 1112 Sundial Rd., Grand Junction, CO 81505 The Cameron family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all friends and family home and abroad, US Airways alumni, and the Wasatch & District Pipe Band and the staff of the First Presbyterian Church. Services were held January 29, 2018 at the First Presbyterian Church in Grand Junction.
