Lester Frank Matthies, 92, Cedaredge, died March 25, 2018, at his home. Services will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Grand Mesa Southern Baptist Church in Cedaredge. Inurnment will follow at Cedaredge Cemetery. He worked for Kansas Gas and Electric. Survivors include two sons, Rodney K. of Clifton and Randy D. of Wichita, Kansas; one sister, Mary Janzen of Newton, Kansas; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. n
