Caroline E. Williams August 5, 1922 - February 24, 2018
Born in Cameo, Colorado to Wilfred and Wilma Kerr of the Kerr Coal Co., Caroline began school in Cameo, graduating from Palisade High School in 1940 as Valedictorian. After receiving an Associate Degree from Colorado Women’s College in 1942, she enlisted in the newly-created Coast Guard Spars. She married in 1945 and returned to Colorado, where she graduated from the University of Denver and later raised her son. Caroline moved back to Grand Junction in the 1980’s for work and to look after her mother. She also volunteered at Mesa College and taught literacy. She will be missed by many dear friends and was a beloved mother and aunt. God bless you, Mom, Aunt Ceddy, and Caroline.
