Arthur Brockman September 26, 1931 - March 14, 2018
Arthur F. Brockman, 86, of Shrewsbury, VT, died March 14, 2018, at his home. He was born September 26, 1931, in Grand Junction, CO, the son of Fred W. and Nancy Mary (Plumley) Brockman. He graduated from Grand Junction High School and served in the US Army Air Corps/Air Force, during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Brockman was employed by the Colorado State School system for many years in the maintenance department. On February 14, 1991, he married Jane Plumley Congdon, and they lived in Grand Junction before moving to Shrewsbury in 2007. She died October 19, 2015. Survivors include son, Terry Brockman and wife, Beth; stepchildren, Richmond Congdon and wife, Marj; Renee Herron and husband, Edward; Ralph Congdon and wife, Aimee; Ralena Goodwin and husband, Mike, and Royalton Congdon and wife, Deb;11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. The graveside service will be held in Northam Cemetery at a later date.
