SIMON SAUTREIBER Laid to rest In Greenwood Cemetery Last Tuesday
Another old timer passed away in the death of the death of Simon Sautreiber which occurred here June 6. He had been ill with miners consumption for some time. Dr. Gilpin attended him assisted by J.Q. Thomas as nurse. He was born in Aultmanhausen, Germany in 1854 and came to Gilman In 1887. His wife died there about seven years ago.

He had been in failing health for several years. The funeral services were held in the Gilman Opera house last Tuesday and were conducted by j.D. Fillmore who read the Episcopal service. Mortician Graham had charge.
