Wendy Lou Horton, 55, Grand Junction, died June 28, 2018. Services take place July 6, at Browns Funeral Chapel. Survivors include her husband Shane Kerr of Grand Junction; three sons, Ryan Newell and Tyler Newell, both of Grand Junction and Gerry Newell of Portland, Oregon; her parents Terran and Frank Kerr of Palisade; one brother, Stewart Vickers of Palisade; one sister, Angel Goodman of Flagstaff, Arizona; and four grandchildren.

Wendy Lou Horton, age 55, passed away June 26, 2018, after a long illness. She was born August 7, 1962, in Wheatridge, Colorado, to Terran Kerr and the late Larry Vickers. Wendy was a youth leader at Camp Pendleton Youth Center and was loved by all the kids, as she was a kid herself. She enjoyed antique shopping, good movies, and her family. She was fun, kind, compassionate, and had a heart of gold. Wendy knew no strangers and loved everyone. Wendy is survived by Shane Kerr, and her sons, Ryan, Gerry, and Tyler Newell; her grandchildren, Eligh, Taytumn, Calloway, and Uriah; her step-father, Frank, and her siblings, Stewart and Angel. Memorial services will be Friday, July 6th at 10:00 a.m. at Browns Funeral Chapel, followed by a reception at the Newell’s, 738 N. 5th Street. To honor Wendy’smemory, please wear something sparkly.
