Griffith Allen Raetz, 63, Clifton, died June 19, 2018, at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado. He was a motorcycle mechanic. Survivors include his wife, Tammy Tour; two sons, Nathan of Grand Junction and Jake of Clifton; one daughter, Rachel Wyles-de Ryk of Fontana, California; two brothers, Jerry of Grand Junction and Garrett of Green Valley, Arizona; one sister, Connie Matunas of Blue Jay, Oklahoma; and four grandchildren. Memorial contributions to the Women’s Recovery Center at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

Griffith "Griff" Allen Raetz, age 63, died June 19, 2018, following a brief illness at St. Mary’s Hospital. Griff was born August 4, 1954, in California. He was the son of the late Warren and Evelyn Raetz. He attended Chaffey High School in Ontario, CA. Griff was a veteran of the US Army, having served as a SPC4, in the Vietnam War from 1972-1975. He enjoyed Harley riding and football. Everyone was Griff’s friend. He had a wicked sense of humor and loved to laugh. He loved his family and tried to always see the good in others. Griff is survived by his wife, Tammy Raetz, Grand Junction, CO; daughter, Rachel Wyles-de Ryk, Fontana, CA, and sons, Nathan (Emily) and Jake (Dawn) of Grand Junction, CO. He is also survived by sister, Connie (Bill) Matunas, Blue Jay, OK; brothers, Jerry, Grand Junction, CO, and Garrett (Gail) Green Valley, AZ, and four grandchildren. Memorial services will be July 5, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at the Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado, 2830 Riverside Parkway, Grand Junction, CO 81501.
